Donor Coordination Unit: DCU
Mandate / Mission Statement:
To help mobilize resources for the sustainable development of East Timor and to ensure that funding and resources match the priorities identified by UNTAET.
DCU Overview
DCU is made up of a director, 3 program officers and one program assistant. DCU staff have liaison responsibilities with various donors and sectors to provide a focal point for donor engagement with UNTAET.
Objectives
- Liaise with donors to mobilize resources for East Timor
- Establish coordination mechanisms for donors
- Match donor resources to East Timor's development priorities
- Provide follow up support to Tokyo Conference
