ADVERTISEMENT

1. Group 1: This requirement is for high-density polyethylene pipe and fittings in composite assemblies of polypropylene and PET. All pipes shall be to DIN 8074/DIN8075. Thermoplastic fittings for HDPE pipes shall be to ISO 3458, ISO 3459, ISO 3501, ISO 3503, minimum pressure-rating PIN 10.

   Group 2: This requirement is for galvanized steel pipe with screwed ends, and galvanized malleable iron fittings with screwed / socket ends. All pipes and fittings shall comply with BS1740 Part 1 or AS1074. All pipes fittings coupling and specials shall be galvanized in accordance with ISO and an average weight of galvanizing of 450 g/mēZinc. Threads shall be to ISO 7/1=BS21, commonly known as British Standard Pipe (BSP) thread.

2. Bidders may opt to quote for one or both groups.
